Windows 10: Wireless adapter disconnects.

I can browse the internet and watch youtube etc. but when I play online games or use zoom for online meetings, wifi disconnects. I check the wireless adapter on device manager and it says that the device is disconnected. I've already tried uninstalling ang reinstalling the driver. Also, I've already contacted a microsoft agent this week and he tried some fixes until we resorted to doing an in-place upgrade of windows 10. I can make the wireless adapter work again when I enter "netsh winsock reset" in command prompt and then the wireless adapter would only malfunction when I play online games or use zoom for online meetings.

I would suggest you to try the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: Update network adapters and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows + x, select
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Right click the Network Adapter drivers.
  
• 
  Select Update driver software.
  

Method 2: Download and install the latest WIFI drivers from the manufacturer’s website and check if it helps.

Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter connect & disconnect

I suggest you to run a Network Adapter troubleshooter and check if it helps:

Follow the steps:

  Type Troubleshooting in the Search box from the desktop.

  Select the Troubleshooting option.
  
• 
  Select View All option and select the Network Adapter.

  Click on Next to perform the Network Adapter troubleshooter and follow the steps.

Wireless Adapter not working

Method 1:

Step 1: Update network adapter driver from the device manager by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows key + X keys on the keyboard and click on
  Device Manager from the options.
• Expand the Network adapters from the options.
• Right click on the wireless network card and select Update option.
• Restart the computer and check if the changes are effective.

Step 2: If the issue persist, I suggest you to uninstall the network adapter driver from the device manager by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows key + X keys on the keyboard and click on
  Device Manager from the options.
• Expand the Network adapters from the options.
• Right click on the wireless network card and select Uninstall.
• Restart the computer for automatic installation of network adapters and check if the changes are effective.
