    Wireless Adapter with Surface Pen Issue


    So I recently bought a wireless adapter display to use with my Surface Pro 7 and whenever I connect to it my Surface pen does not interact with my pro at all. No writing no using it to open apps. However when I disconnect from the wireless adapter the Pen works. It will write and open apps. I have updated the drivers and I am connecting without a problem. I have the wiresless adapter app downloaded as well but I cannot figure out what is happening or what I need to give permission to so the Pen will working while using the wireless adapter display

    Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter connection issues

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand your concern, however I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.


    • Press Windows Logo + X.

    • Go to Device Manager on your Surface Pro 3.

    • Go to Display Adapters.

    • Search for Intel (HD) graphics driver.

    • Uninstall this graphics driver and reboot your Surface Pro 3.
    After reboot, an updated Intel (HD) graphics driver should be installed. And this driver might be capable to connect to Microsoft’s Wireless Display Adapter.
