Wireless Android Storage Integration with Windows 11 File Explorer - Question

I read an article on android-authority that mentioned a new windows 11 feature that allows wireless connection to an android device to see its files in the windows 11 file explorer without using the phone link app and without attaching the android device to your computer with a USB cable. This supposedly new Windows 11 feature is generically referred to as Android Storage Integration. One of the requirements for this is to download something called Cross-Device Experience Host from the Microsoft Store. However, searching both the Microsoft Store and the Microsoft Download Center yields no

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Explorer connect to Android device directory /storage/emulated/0

Even if you modify USB settings as @bro67 mentioned, WinExplorer cannot see /storage/emulated/0/ as it is, but as I've already described, as the first level/screen when you open "Internal Storage". You cannot see "emulated" or "storage" directory because they are hidden. You can see only "0" directory as "Internal Storage" in WinExplorer and in Android too.
    So, /storage/emulated/0/ = Internal Storage.
WinExplorer and Android common explorer cannot see protected/hidden Android areas.

Description of your problem is a little bit confusing. Do you see your phone directories (folders & files) in WinExplorer? If so, better post screenshot(s). If not, follow what @bro67 suggests.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.
