Windows 10: wireless BUZZ playstation 3 controllers how to sync

i have tried everything i have looked all over the web and have found nothing and I'm getting desperate. i bought these buzzers from the playstation 3 game BUZZ and they are wireless. I have tried to sync them with the wireless dongle and then map them with joy to key with no result. i can't even calibrate these things. please help because these things were extremely expensive

Playstation 2 Buzz Controller does not work on Windows 10

I tried installing the USB game controller for the Playstation 2 version of the quiz-game "Buzz!" on my Windows 10 computer. While this (pretty simple) controller works well on Linux and (as far as I can remember) on older Windows versions.

Unfortunately, when I plug the controller in, the driver Windows automatically installs has the status "Driver error" in Settings/Connected devices. The driver it installs is called "Logitech Buzz(tm) Controller V1". Searching for this driver name didn't bring up anything useful for me.

In the device manager it shows a "Standard USB Hub" with an error: "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)".

My wish is, that the controller gets recognized as a gamepad or generic hid-controller so I can use the input data. I wouldn't mind translating the byte-input myself.

 

Is the Playstation 3 Controller driver for Windows 10 non-functioning by design?

Three possible reasons:

• The driver is generic (it was never intended for Playstation controllers) but it was the "best match" the system could find.
  
• The driver is not specific to the device (it was intended for Playstation controllers, just not that particular make/revision) but it was the "best match" the system could find.
  
• The driver was intended specifically for Playstation 3 controllers but requires additional underlying software the driver manufacturer chose not to include (e.g. because of licensing).
  

For what it's worth, the Sony Playstation 3's CellOS and MacOS both make use of parts of a similar code base (they both include elements of BSD derivatives), so it isn't too suprising that the controller works easily with MacOS. On the other hand, Windows has a completely different subsystem for connecting devices.

 

Can't manage to connect a second Playstation 3 controller


I have 2 Playstation 3 controllers that I would like to use to play games on my laptop. I managed to install the first one following a guide about "ScpServer" to install it as a "Controller XBOX 360 For Windows" and it works perfectly.
When I try to use the second one it doesn't work. The 4 lights keep flashing and I tried reinstalling the driver using just the second controller but it still won't work.

Do you have any suggestion?
