Windows 10: Wireless Capability is already enabled but can't connect, troubleshoot asking for turn on...

i broke my laptop keyboard, but since i only use my laptop at home, so i don't really mind since i use external keyboard. But i don't know how to connect my wifi without the fn key on the onboard keyboard. i tried Google it and they said just enable the Wireless Network Connection on Network and Sharing Center. Mine always enabled but it still requires fn+f2 to use it. and then the icon changed from signal bar with red X to signal bar with yellow *. I tried Windows troubleshoot it and it told me to turn on Wireless Capability, but mine already turned on. is there a way to solve this easily or

I am only speculating as i don`t know what type of Setup ( External Modem / Router you have and if its Wireless capable ).

As to your Computers WiFi Modem.

You should see a Network Access Icon in the bottom Right Hand Side of you Task Bar. on your screen.

Hover your Mouse over it or Right Click on it to see what options you are given.

It should show a list of Networks Available.

In this list it should show the External Modem / Router what you are trying to connect to. ( Make sure its WiFi is Enabled or it wont show up in the list ).

If it is in the list select it and click Connect.

You may be asked for some other details such as WiFi Password or MAC Address or some form of Identifier which is usually supplied with External Modem / Router which you may have to enter manually to connect the two.

The external Modem / Router that you are trying to connect to usually come with a small Card with the WiFi Details such as WiFi Name / Provider / WiFi Password and some other documentation on connections.

Try This.

Enabling Wireless in Windows 7 / Vista

1. Click on Start. It's in the lower-left corner of the screen.
2. Click on Control Panel.
3. Click on Network and Internet.
4. Click on Network and Sharing Center.
5. Click on Change adapter settings. ...
6. Right-click on Wireless Connection.
7. Click on Enable.

From the information you sent me and following them, I could get the diagnostic information of wireless connectivity so as information for connection diagnosed, the Root cause: Wireless capability is turned off and Radio is off (Hw Switch).

The repair option: Turn on wireless capability. Use the switch on the front or side of the computer or function keys available, to enable wireless capability on this computer.

So I conclude that it was not problem of the windows but of the Toshiba Laptop configuration so I decided to reset it pressing restart and F2 later F9 and F10, so the problem was solved.
