Windows 10: Wireless controller shows as connected but doesn't show up at all

For the past few weeks, after some Windows update I am running Windows 11, my controllers started to not show up.How it was before: My PS4 controllers are paired to my computer via Bluetooth. I was able to see them in the "Game Controllers" and also on some joystick testing websites. I was using DS4Windows so that my controller was visible in the games.A few weeks ago, I couldn't find my controllers in DS4Windows. After some debugging, I saw that they never show up in the "Game Controllers" tab like they used to. My controller is still being shown as "Connected" in the Bluetooth settings.I h

Xbox Controller is not connecting to Wireless Adapter

I appreciate your time and patience to work on this issue. To have a better clarity on the issue please reply to the following questions:

• Are you using an Xbox one controller?
  

If you are using an Xbox one controller, I suggest you to refer the steps in the article

How to connect an Xbox One Wireless Controller to a Windows PC and see if that helps in resolving the issue.



I would also suggest you to uninstall all the hidden devices under USB hive and check if you are able to connect the wireless adapter. Please follow the steps mentioned below to uninstall the hidden drivers:

1. Press and hold the Windows + X key on the keyboard.
   
2. Select Device manager.
   
3. Click View tab.
   
4. Select Show hidden devices.
   
5. Expand Universal Serial Bus and remove all the greyed out devices. To remove the greyed out devices, right click on the device and select
   uninstall.
   
6. Restart your computer.

Since i have windows 11 my Wireless Xbox controller doesn t work anymore with Xbox Game Pass Games on PC

Since i have a new PC and now Windows 11, my wireless Xbox Controller doesn t work anymore with any Xbox Game Pass Games. I already tried to use it while pluged in, closed Steam and every other Programm while playing. The game "recognizes" the Controlle since the Buttons it shows (for like closing the game) changes from "Space" to "A"-Controller Button when i press anything on the Controller. It just doesn t take any input from the Controller. I also checked the Driver and even manually changed the driver from the Controller (shown as XINPUT-compatible HID device) to wireless Xbox (one) Controller.

Initially, we need to pair the device to show up in the list while connected through Bluetooth. Check with the below mentioned steps and see if it works.
