    Hi to all! Could you please help me, I have an issue with the connection to wireless display. I have been using Tablet Galaxy S8 Ultra as an additional monitor, and everything work correctly, one day this function become not working. There were no updates or drivers instalation, there were no updates related with the Software and/or Hardware. What could be a problem? I had a call with support from ASUS and they provided me additional drivers to Wi-Fi module, but nothing changed unfortunately, they asked to contact Microfot comunity and support for additional help and information. Thank you i

    I can understand the situation must be difficult for you when things do not work as they should. However, we would need some more information regarding the issue.

    1. What is the make and model of the computer?
    2. What is the model of the TV?

    This issue can occur if there is pending firmware update or the issue with the drivers. I would suggest you to follow the below steps and let us know about the results:

    Method 1: Fix connections to wireless displays or docks.


    I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned in the Microsoft article on
    Fix connections to wireless displays or docks.


    Method 2: Troubleshooting Wireless Display Adapters.

    If method 1 doesn’t fix the issue, I would suggest you to follow all the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the Microsoft article on
    Troubleshooting Wireless
    Display Adapters
    refer the steps ‘Having trouble connecting your device to the adapter?’

    Note: The above article contains steps regarding Firmware update.
    Modifying BIOS settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS
    settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.

    Windows Wireless Display Adapter-not connecting anymore

    Hello Phillip,

    Did you notice any changes on your PC prior to the issue? I suggest that you follow the steps outlined in this support article:
    Troubleshooting Wireless Display Adapters.

    Since updating drivers did not work, in addition, you can try to reset the Wireless Adapter.

    1. On the adapter, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds.
    2. When the message " Ready to connect "shows, open the
      Action Center.
    3. Select Connect, and in the list of displays, select
      Microsoft
      Wireless Display Adapter.
