Windows 10: Wireless display option missing, can't cast to TV

Lenovo laptop, Win 11 installed, AMD Radeon Graphics.I have updated drivers. No problems with wi-fi. No display found when casting to wireless TV. Tried to add display. Win 11 won't add.Has worked in the past. Computer will detect display after I reboot laptop, turn off TV, unplug Router, replug router, turn on TV. When I turn off TV, and try to cast again later, the *&%# , under Available displays, tells me "No displays are available." I have updated display adapter and its drivers. I've asked win to add a display bluetooth & devices, add device, wireless displays etc., add

Cannot "Cast" to a wireless display (TV)

Although I can find my (Sony 90J) TV and connect my (Yoga 9) Lenovo to it using the Microsoft Edge tool "Cast media to device", I cannot directly do so utilizing "Connect to a wireless display (Cast)" from the Settings. The message is "No displays are available".

We appreciate the information that you have provided. If your wireless display is not discovered through the steps mentioned before, it could be that the option to cast to the TV is turned off. Kindly check the instruction manual of your TV on how to enable
the option to cast the display from your laptop.

After turning on the option to cast to your TV, kindly restart the TV and the laptop and see if you are now able to project from your laptop to your TV.

Are you trying to cast wireless to the TV or cast using a cable like HDMI?

If wireless, you can do the following:

-Click on the Action Center icon in the bottom right corner.

-Click on the button labeled "Project"

- At the bottom of the Window that slides out select "Connect to a wireless Display"

-In the next window that appears your Display should appear on the list as the name or Model of the TV- Select it and your device should recognize it as a wireless display.

-If you want to change how the Display is connected, click out of the side window and then click back on Action Center < Project.

-You will have the option of Duplicate, Extend, PC Screen only, Second Screen only. Select the option that best fits what you want to do.

Alternatively, if your media is in a folder or directory in the computer you can do the following:

- Open Windows Explorer

-Locate the media you want to play

-Right click and select Cast to Device < ... and select your Device from the list.

Finally, if your TV has a Google Chromecast in it you can install Google Chrome and use the Cast function in Google Chrome.
