  1. Wireless display option missing from Windows 11

Hi,I have Lenovo laptop Ideapad 3, 15ALC6. I can't cast from laptop to Chromecast device. In dxdiag I got information that Miracast is not supported by graphic driver, Wi-Fi driver is OK.Does this means that hardware is responsible for not supporting Miracast or problem is in software driver for graphic card?In Optional apps and features I don't have Wireless display installed and I don't have an option to install it. I can't see it on a list of available features at all. DISM installation of wireless display has also failed with Error code 87.Thanks in advance!

    :)

  2. Wireless display options missing

    Hi Ryan,

Both the device you have and the device you want to display to need to support Miracast.

Miracast is built atop the Wi-Fi Direct standard, which lets devices directly communicate with each other, no outside network necessary.

Wireless display option missing from Windows 11

"Connect to a wireless display" does not appear on the Project option

I am trying to connect my laptop to a wireless display. The wireless display is a Samsung 55 TV.

I recently upgraded my laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 10. My TV is listed as a Play Device on my Connected Devices page, but not as Projector Device. When I click Win+P, only the first four options show up; it is missing the fifth option to connect to
    a wireless display.
