    Hi, I went to school for information technologies and took MCSE classes as well as CCNA/CCNP. I am currently running windows 11 64bit. It's a notebook so the video is just a chipset on the motherboard. All drivers are installed, updated, and working properly.Okay so here is what the issue is, when I open display settings to connect to my TV, it does not populate in the list as an option. However, it is in the remembered devices list. There is no cause that I can come up with. No changes have been made to my network configuration, tv settings, or anything on the PC.     Not able to connect wireless display

    Hi Madhu,

    For us to provide a solution suited to your wireless display concern, we need additional information. Can you answer the questions below?

    • Were there any changes made to your device prior to the issue?
    • Did you update your Windows?
    • Have you tried other troubleshooting steps so far?

    In the meantime, we suggest updating your wireless driver and see if it helps. Follow the steps below:


    • Open Device Manager.

    • Look for Network adapterand click it to expand.

    • Select the driver then right-click on it and select Properties.

    • Under Driver tab, click the Update Driver button to update the driver.

    Same exact issue here with 2 adapters. Both worked well for a long time, then suddenly could not connect to either one. Adapter shows up on TV and my Microsoft Surface Pro3. Message on Surface is "connecting." Message on TV is "connecting to Bill's device."
    Then, "unable to connect." Tried connecting two adapters connected to two TVs using three Surface Pro devices. Same result.
