Windows 10: Wireless keeps disconnecting

Hello,

I am using a Dell Latitude 3590 laptop. Since last 3 months or so, I am facing an issue with my wireless connectivity. Wifi switches off cannot detect any wireless network randomly after sometime. I cannot turn it back on. To get it to work again I have to do either of the 2 things mentioned below

1. Remove the wireless driver from the system and click scan for hardware changes.
2. Reboot my laptop.

I have tried everything that can possibly be done to fix this but nothing helps. I have tried the following till now :

1. Deleted wireless drivers and installed fresh drivers again.
2. Cleared the checkbox - Allow the computer to turn off the device to save energy." Then on the Advanced tab disable any energy-saving options.
3. Reset Windows.

I contacted dell support and they have replaced my wireless card, motherboard and antenna.

Device type - Dell Latitude 3590

Network Card - Qualcomm QCA61x4A 802.11 ac

Qualcomm driver - 12.0.0.722

Earlier I was able to work using a LAN cable but since windows was reset, LAN cable also doesn't work when the above issue occurs.

Wireless Network Disconnection

Hi Experts,

I have Dell Latitude e6540 with Windows 10 (1903) is creating an issue.

When I am working on the browser on any other activity my internet connection is broken however Wireless connection is showing remains connected but i am out of the network so I need to click on disconnect and again connect and it works fine.

I have tried the below troubleshooting steps.

When the issue occurred I tried to ping 8.8.8.8 its answer is request time out
When the issue occurred I tried to ping 192.168.1.1 (my local router IP) its answer is request time out
Already have up to dated available Wireless LAN drivers
Test on two different Wireless routers

Wireless display adapters keep disconnecting

It's possible that the devices aren't fully compatible, causing the disconnection. We'd like to learn more about your concern so that we could provide the proper resolution. We just have a few questions for you:

• Just to confirm, are you using a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter, or is it a third-party device?
• Did you make any changes to the computers before this started happening?
• Which build version of Windows 10 are using on your computers? To check, click
  Start, type winver, and press Enter. For example, 14393.1066.
• Does it get disconnected when using a particular program?
• Did you receive any error messages? If yes, please post a screenshot.
• Since you mentioned you've done some troubleshooting steps, can you list them all so that we could move on to the next ones?

 

Xbox One Wireless controller keeps disconnecting

After reading some replies on here, there seem to be a lot of various theories. I'm sorry if it doesn't work for you, but I can confirm that exiting Steamworked for me. The problem is very repeatable.

• Connect and disconnect controller
• Sleep and wake up system
• Xbox One Wireless controller connects (as shown in the "Game Controllers" panel) and disconnects within 2 seconds.
• Exit Steam
• Xbox One Wireless controller connects and works.
• Restart Steam (controller still works)
• Disconnect Xbox One Wireless controller, then connects and disconnects within 2 seconds.

I'm narrowing my problem down to the Big Picture mode, so that problem is for another forum...

Hopefully this workaround helps a few people before the real solution is found.
