    Hello, I have a serious problem with my wifi network adapter, it's missing I could not find it in any place not under device manager or network and sharing center and when I get my laptop start it show this message hp wireless module not found the system has detected that the wireless module is not installed correctly or not functioning.. Wireless module 701 I used an hp Compaq cq61-360evIt was working before but after upgraded from win 7 ultimate to win 10 pro a lot of features stopped functioning and I could only restore my bluetooth back I discovered that if I updated the Bluetooth driv

    Microsoft Wireless Router Module - Keeps Installing Daily

    Paola Gar, thank you for the response.

    There is no listing in Device Manager for "Microsoft Wireless Router Module". However, there is a listing of "Unknown device" under "Other devices" which could be why this is attempting to install - however, there are no wireless devices/adapters/cards
    on this PC.

    My question did not get answered as to what is "Microsoft Wireless Router Module"?

    Also, why does it show "successfully installed" in "Update history" but then keeps installing it daily?

    Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

    Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.
