    Wireless mouse not working after HP zbook wakes up from sleep mode


    I have recently bought a zbook and have found an issue after the first night with it. The next morning my mouse stopped working, unplugged it, replaced batteries, device manager alternations suggested by a Google search nothing worked. Had to unplug it and wait it out. Eventually it worked again, it is now the next morning and it's done the same thing and I can't have this bs a reoccurring issue. Please help, anyone got an idea on what this is??

    WIndows 10 will not wake up from sleep or hibernation

    I am running windows 10 19041.388 on an HP All in One PC and cannot get it to wake up from sleep. I have done the following:

    1. Allow mouse and keyboard to allow device to wake up computer.
    2. Updated drivers
    3. Turn off fast start up
    4. Re-enable Hibernation via Command Prompt
    5. USB Selective Suspend Setting - Disabled
    I have tried the above steps using both a wired HP mouse and a wireless Jelley Comb mouse

    suddenly my new HP ALL in one computer will not wake from sleep mode using either mouse or keyboard. Both are set in control panel to wake from sleep mode.

    Frozen Mouse After Wake From Sleep

    Hi All,

    Just an update on my frozen mouse upon wake from sleep issue. I carried out each of the steps below and tested after each one:

    1. ensured that my motherboard chipset and BIOS are up to date
    2. for each USB Root Hub I ensured that 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' was unchecked
    3. for each USB device (mouse and wireless Xbox One adapter) I ensured that the computer would not power off these devices
    4. for the Balanced Power mode I disabled the USB Adaptive Suspend mode

    Even after all of the steps above, my frozen mouse issue would not go away. My last resort was to try the original USB mouse that shipped with the computer. Immediately after connecting this mouse the issue no longer remained, the computer would wake from sleep and the mouse would work fine.

    Based on this information, my belief is that I have a faulty mouse. Is there anything else I'm missing to troubleshoot?
