Wireless USB mouse suddenly stops working for a second, many times a day

I never had problems with this wireless usb logitech mouse, and from one day to the other, i notice that it stops working for a second, and then comes back to life. I only notice this while gaming. Maybe it happens all the time but not always im so aware of where the pointer is exactly so i dont know.

I also already tried some solutions. I already got into Device Manager, and unchecked the box that says "Allow to turn off this device to save power" or something like that.
I already uninstalled and reinstalled/updated the drivers.
I have the suspicion that maybe its because the battery is low? but the mouse works perfectly all the time, so doesnt makes much sense. But its weird because it worked perfect a few months ago.

    Thanks for any help.

  2. My Wireless USB Mouse Stopped working

My wireless USB Mouse suddenly stopped working. Again.

I loaned my mouse to my son, and it went from working on my laptop to working on his. When I plugged the mouse back into my laptop, it stopped working. I've restarted multiple times, with and without the mouse installed in a USB port. I've replaced the mouse
battery (though the light was on with the new battery). I've used the device manager to uninstall the HID compliant mouse multiple times. Restarting, even without the USB inserted, shows an HID compliant mouse on the machine. Uninstalling and then scanning
for hardware changes (without the USB in the machine) reinstalls the HID compliant mouse. Removing all hidden HID compliant mouse installations and repeating results in the same reappearance of the mouse. I've also checked and reinstalled the drivers multiple
times, but since I cannot seem to get rid of the HID compliant mouse for more than a few seconds, I have no idea if it is a clean install.

There was also some trick to play with the Services tab, and I think I've tried that, but can't remember what steps I've taken.

Help. This should not be hard. This is a mouse. It should just work, and it shouldn't stop working for essentially no reason.

In the past, when this has occurred, a combination of the above steps usually restores functionality, but this time, it hasn't.

Dell laptop, Inspiron 5559, with Windows 10 Version 10.0.15063 Build 15063

Mouse is by Microsoft (I had issues before with the Lenovo mouse, and thought maybe the MS mouse would solve the problems, but it still happens.) The tag in the mouse says it is PNX908745-001, but I have no further information about which product it is.

Any more suggestions? I'd love to have a working mouse again.

    Thank you,

    Debbie

usb wired and wireless mouse stopped working

Wireless 2.4G mouse was working. Recently had a MS update and then the wireless mouse stopped working. Tried using a wired USB mouse and it too doesn't work. Using Device Manager, I am able to Uninstall the Dell USB Mouse that is listed under Other Devices
which happens to be the wired mouse. Removing the USB connection and then plugging it back in, pops up a window Setting up Device followed by another pop up window indicated Device is Ready. However, the mouse still doesn't work.

Going back to the Device Manager, I can see the Device Status "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)"

Fortunately I am on an Asus laptop and under Mice and other pointing device, the Asus Supported Device still works which is the touchpad.

Really would be helpful if the wired or wireless mouse worked. By the way, same behavior applies for the Wireless mouse.
