Windows 10: Wireless2.4ghz headphone microphone is super quiet and there is no boost option.

I have a pair of headphones that connect to my laptop via 2.4ghz USB receiver, and the microphone is insanely quiet even on max volume. In discord and instagram it's not terrible, but for any in game chats like cod and halo it doesn't pick up any audio at all even if I literally place it on my mouth and talk loudly into it. Please don't tell me to go to properties, levels, then boost it from there I've already tried and seen several questions with that answer but there is no boost option at all.

Microphone super quiet

So Ive tried everything from reinstalling the driver to searching google people seem to not have this issue atleast not the same as me.

My microphone is on a headset but i plugged the headset into the headset slot the computer never understood that it was a Headset/Microphone so i plugged the headset into the Microphone slot and got another headset and plugged it into the headset slot after
that didnt fix the issue i gave up and ended up moving the Mic/Headset into the pink jack in the back of my computer and left the other headset in the headset slot but my issue is no matter what i do my microphone is super quiet and when i boost it. It becomes
a car horn up to your ear that sounds like its in a tunnel how do i fix this or am i in a Pickle??? and what i mean is it boosts my voice but it becomes super loud and at the same time i sound like im in a tunnel

 

Audio-I no longer have access to microphone boost option?

I am on windows 11. On the 10th, I moved from home to a new place. When I plugged in my headphones to talk to friends, they complained that it was very quiet. When I looked into it, I found I no longer have the microphone boost option in "levels". My headset is razor barracuda X. All my drivers are up to date, I cannot do a system restore, I tried the troubleshooter. I have no idea why I am no longer able to use the microphone boost option.

 

Mic Boost Set to 30 dB - Still Super Quiet

For some reason, both my onboard microphone and external mic on my headphones (through the four-pole headset jack) are super quiet. I installed Audacity to double-check.

While there is sound, only once amplified in Audacity can I hear it. I tried boosting the volume in System Sounds, but it won't actually apply. Despite being set to 30 dB, it isn't boosted when I record/listen to the mic.
