    Hallo team,On my old HP-notebook HP Pavilion g series i3 with WIN 7, I've changed HDD to SSD in preparation for a handover to one of my godchildren. And installed WIN 10 Pro via an original OS DVD WIN Pro 10 from 2016 without product key, but especially for use with a licensed HP or Compaq PC.     Reverting to original license in windows 10

    Windows 7 key is not embedded as win 8 is. He will need the original win 7 pro key since Enterprise is not actually activated. It cannot be activated without a volume license. Only windows 10 Pro was eligible to install on a win 7 pro computer. Enterprise
    is not part of the free upgrade offer. The tech was wrong to have installed Enterprise.

    The original Win 10 upgrade was never completely installed so there is no activated license to retrieve. If there is a sticker with the activation key on the computer, that can be used to activate Win 10 Pro.

    Previously my user's PC upgraded from windows 8 single language with key activated, to windows 10 home single language.

    After the OS upgrade, digital license was lost and not found on OS.

    Activate Win 10 Pro after motherboard/OS upgrade

    After parallel PC upgrades of motherboard and OS, (Win 7 to Win 10 Pro) I now need to activate Win 10 Pro. Can I purchase a digital license or product key to complete the task? I would prefer not to have to perform a clean install of Win 10 Pro as my system
    is working fine as is. I just need to activate the Win 10 Pro that's already installed.
