With Location Services Disabled, will these services no longer run and report back to...

I have disabled Location Services in Settings because the Laptop is stationary all the time in the same place.I have noticed that when Location Services was Enabled the following services print screen below were continuously accessing the location the Arrow in the task bar will pop up and reporting back to Microsoft I would assume, now with Location service disabled, will these services run and report back using the ISP IP broader location or will they stop doing that? Thanks

    :)

    Hi Shahriar,

    • Press Windows key, type Location settings and select
      Change location settings.
    • Check whether Location for this device is On by clicking on

      .
    • Also turn on Location as well.

Step 2: And as you are unable to set the service Geolocation service to automatic, I suggest you to run SFC scan and check.

    Follow the below steps:

      Command Prompt (Admin).

    • Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
      Enter.

    • After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.

Try to set the service to automatic by following the steps provided in the above post by Praveen Venugopal.

Hope it helps. Kindly update the status of the issue, we will be happy to help you.
