Windows 10: With the battery indicator at 100% on my laptop Windows 10, newly updated, why won't it...

hello

so I bought a new battery for my laptop cause i was using a dead battery and when I was using the dead one (before buying the new one) the battery indicator was always showing that the battery is always 100% I thought that it was showing this cause the battery
is dead

but after buying a new battery the battery indicator is always showing 100% and the battery isn't charging and everytime I unplug the laptop from the charger the laptop turns off

please help me cause i don't know what to do know

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

1.Did you reinstall the battery drivers?or

2.updated the BIOS?

While you check that out, here's what next on the menu:

• Unplug the charge and use the laptop until the battery drains to 15%.
• Turn off the laptop and turn it back on after 30mins.
• Reinstalled Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under device manager,
• Restart the computer and the issue should be fixed.
