For me to get a Connection after a reboot, I have to reseat my ethernet cable, disable all networks in the device manager, and then enable them. I also have a wireless dongle that I have to put into a different USB port if it is to work again, and re-enter all my wireless keys again. When I roll back my system or reinstall windows 10 1909 absolutely these issues do not appear. Also since I upgraded to the 2004 update my network icon has indicated that I do not have a connection at all.

Windows 10 Ethernet connection randomly disconnects

I suggest checking out the event log in Windows. It's likely going to tell you why (to some degree,) why the network connection was lost. I haven't had this issue with wired connections but, with wireless it has almost always come down to drivers or a strange software bug which boiled down to how the driver operates.

  3. Losing network connection

Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

    1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

    2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

    3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

    4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.

I Hope you solve out your query soon.
