    First my chrome was eating lots of data. After I uninstalled it. Then my system is taking lots and lots of my wifi data. I also paused my system update a week ago. But again the data was used a lot after that. Under data usage overview I checked last week, now it is double the gb used. I reset it 2 days just to check how much is used per day. Within 2 days it's now 5gb used. I don't have a any antivirus software too. What is the problem in my system? I had been gone through all the solution videos in YouTube, but ended in vain. Although I am using internet via metered connection only. I turned

    I understand your concern about CPU usage by System and compressed memory process. We will help you with this issue.

    We appreciate your effort and time spent in resolving the issue.

    I would like to inform that Ntoskrnl.exe
    is a critical process in the boot-up cycle of your computer.

    This issue might have occurred due to malware infection/ outdated drivers/
    Runtime Broker. Try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

    Step 1: I suggest you to run a virus scan on your device and check if it helps.

    Refer: Security & privacy

    Run Windows Defender scan)

    Note: Data or files which are infected by malware might be beyond cleaning and have to be deleted entirely to maintain the integrity of your system, which means there might be a potential for data loss.

    Step 2: Turn off the "Show me tips about Windows"

    Please do the below steps to do the same.

    • Press Start button, click on Settings.
    • In the Settings, select the System>Notifications and actions> turn off the "Show me tips about Windows".
    • Restart the computer.

    Step 3: Also, try to install the pending updates on your device.

    Steps:

    • Connect to the internet.
    • Press Windows key and type updates.
    • Click on Check for updates.
    • Under Windows Updates, click on Check for updates.
    • Try to install the updates being shown.

    $GetCurrent is upgrade files which can be cleared with either .

    • Step 1: Press Windows+Pause Break key to open System and choose System protection.
    • Step 2: Select the hard disk whose system protection is on, and click Configure.
    • Step 3: Tap the Delete button.
    • Step 4: Choose Continue to remove all restore points on the selected drive.

    Thanks for following the instructions. We suggest you use CMD Admin or if not available, have the computer restarted to
    Safe Mode With Command Prompt and then repeat the steps from Dolly Cab and ours. Update after the commands are
    successful. Also, to prepare your system, I suggest that you use the following commands as well before the others:
