Windows 10: WLAN AutoConfig can't be started, error:1068

Discus and support WLAN AutoConfig can't be started, error:1068 in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Windows Connection Manager can't be started, it started then stopped.... Discussion in 'Windows 10 Network and Sharing' started by txdeng, Mar 9, 2021.

    Unable to start WLAN AutoConfig (error 1068)

    I cannot connect with wireless adapter to Wifi with desktop running on Windows 10. I replaced wireless adapter but still not connecting. I access WLAN AutoConfig, attempt to start it and received error 1068.

    Please help me resolve this issue.

    Windows could not start WLAN AutoConfig Service on Local Commputer. Error :1068

    WLAN AutoConfig service is down on Windows 10. When manually restarted, it errors out stating

    "Errir 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start".

    Wifi is down , even though there are no errors or wranings in device manager.

    Laptop has only wifi connection .

    Can't start Windows Connection Manager and WLAN AutoConfig

    Hello there!

    So I can't connect to my wifi and think I have located the problem. My WLAN AutoConfig is not running and when i try to start it I get this massage "Windows could not start the WLAN AutoConfig servies on local computer. Error 1068: the dependency service
    or group failed to start."

    After look under dependencies I found that everything ran exept Windows Connection Manager. When I try to start it I get the same massage as above. I then look at Windows Connection Manager dependencies all of the other steps was running

    Any ideas?
