Windows 10: WLAN Problems Windows 10 with Hyper-V

Hi Guys,


I have a problem with this plague called windows 10. I use WLAN and Hyper-V. While the signal is googd enough and WLAN works well for some period of time, in a sudden moment the system can not establish new connection. I can try to ping - nothing DNS works as the ip gets resolved, websites refuse to load - but the really odd thing: connections that were established prior still works. So I could still watch Prime Video. First I thought "ok musst be buffered" but no - I can jump forward in the video and even play the next one, but nothing else is working. Task manager shows, that data is still transmitted!

I think it could be related to the Hyper-V default switch, as I read some others had similar problems. When I used cable, I had non of such problems - but after I moved in a new flat, I can't wire right now. I need my PC for work and I am so what of pissed off. Hard to describe with human words.

Anybody a idea that leads me to a solution without brainless trail and error?


In my windope error log I'm seeing things like that:

"Zeitüberschreitung bei der Namensauflösung für den Namen a830edad9050849405e20022917.sharepoint.com, nachdem keiner der konfigurierten DNS-Server geantwortet hat."


and

How to enable Hyper V windows 10

Operating System Requirements

The Hyper-V
role can be enabled on these versions of Windows 10:

• Windows 10 Enterprise
• Windows 10 Professional
• Windows 10 Education

The Hyper-V role cannot be installed on:

• Windows 10 Home
• Windows 10 Mobile
• Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise

I appreciate your effort on this. As per my research the error code 0x800f0831 is generated when .Net Framework 3.5 is not enabled on the computer. I suggest you to try enabling .Net Framework 3.5 on the computer. Follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + R, to open
   Run dialog box.
   
2. Type appwiz.cpl and click on
   OK.
   
3. Click on Turn Windows features on or off.
   
4. Now, select the check box for .Net Framework 3.5 and click on
   OK.
   
5. Restart the computer.
   

You can also check if Virtualization feature is enabled in BIOS or not, if it is not enabled, I suggest you to enable it.

Hyper-V on Windows Pro wont install and see if that helps.

Hi Geoffrey,

Hyper-V lets you run an operating system or computer system as a virtual machine on Windows. Before proceeding in disabling
Hyper-V, please create a backup of your files for security purposes.

To disable Hyper-V, please follow the steps below:

• On the Cortana search box, type Turn Windows Features on or off and press
  Enter.
• Look for the Hyper-V folder.
• Uncheck the tick-box next to the main Hyper-V folder and click
  OK.
• Restart your PC.
