Windows 10: wlm 2012 issue after upgrading from 7.1

Since upgrading from win 7/64 we have had probs with wlm 2012. In essence we can receive but can't send. after creating the email and clicking send, there is no response at all. Using any other email address renders the same problem.

We have a Lineone address which uses Tiscali settings which we have double checked with Talktalk. We are using webmail at present, but this is inconvenient as we have another email address which we use (BT) which makes a client system better than webmail.

We will try the repair function to see if this fixes this; I notice very much mixed reports with WLM and win 10 with quite a few having issues, but other saying its working fine. I wonder what the the issue is?

WLM 2012 stopped working under windows 10 on Dec 11 after I installed the requested update d-Mail.msp

I had WLM 2011 on a machine. I uninstalled it and installed WLM 2012. WLM 2012 works after adding a Hotmail and an Outlook account. I ran d-Mail.msp and WLM 2012 is broken. Win 10 1511 with all updates.

 

Weird Issue with WLM 2012

I have been using WLM 2012 quite happily in my Windows 10 environment - However, it has suddenly stopped receiving e-mails altogether - The weird bit is that I can still "SEND" e-mails - No problem whatsoever - it's just the Incoming e-mails that are a problem.
Can someone help?

Please post back the result after running the Repair option.
I am using WLM since Win 7 and I am stull using it.
I never have to use the Repair option. Would like to know how effective is the option.

 

Just to be sure, are these the settings you are using for your outgoing mail?

Outgoing email (SMTP): smtp.tiscali.co.uk
Outgoing Port: 587
SSL: No
Outgoing Authentication: Yes

 

Thank you - yes those are indeed correct works on win 7 but not win 10.....................
