    WMA not syncing to phone


    Hi all. I have an old laptop operating on Windows 7 which I use purely for children's discos. For some reason I can not sync music from or to my Samsung phone. I thought it was a phone issue but my new Samsung phone is also not detected by WMA to sync music over to. Also it transpires that Samsung no longer works with WMA. I removed and reloaded WMA but to no avail. Is it simply because Windows 7 no longer is supported.TIA.Ian

    Window Phone 8 WMA audiobook/DRM support...

    I don't know why WMA is not supported in the Overdrive app. The WMA file format is supported in the Windows Phone OS - I sync my Zune subscribed music, which is DRM encrypted and in WMA format - to my phone and listen to that music on the phone with
    no problem.

    WMA Lossless

    Actually WP7 supports WMA lossless playback — you can see that if you copy WMA lossless files directly to the phone without Zune software and try to play them. The problem is with the Zune software that converts WMA lossless to lossy when syncing.

    WMA not syncing to phone

    wma files in Explorer, don't show in Windows Media Player Library

    Tried to add folders under manage library but they do not show in WMA.
    How can I examine tags?
