  3. Wmi constantly writes something causing high cpu

Hi. Wmi have been acting up. First i had it go to 26% back and forth and i pin pointed the service and disabled it and then it went to another service and did the same thing, so i disabled those to. All of those services were related to having a random nummber to it, that is related to a service without random number that has UserServiceFlags DWORD in registry that spawns the same service but with a random name in the end of it. Wmi high usage was using those with random for some reason, but now i disabled all of them by using UserServiceFlags "0" instead of "3" disabling it from creating those random number ones, so now wmi does not hook to any of those anylonger and works by itself now causing 2.34% cpu usage every 1 sec. Is this normal? I cant remember it doing that. I did not see wmi jump in task manager to top place and then down 1 step every 1 sec because it was the one having the highest usage, around 2.34%. This is what it's doing that causes this, what is this cleanupgroupmember thing? What is it doing?

WMI Provider Host spiking up to 50% CPU (or more)

So... this is becoming a bit difficult to figure out. Sometimes the process ID identified in the WMI-Activity error doesn't exist in the task manager details tab. Additionally, I'm finding that even when the WMI Provider Host appears to be working correctly (<1% CPU) there are still tons of errors in the Event Viewer. I had expected that those errors would only occur when the provider host was spiking.

    Now I'm simply confused:

    1. Shouldn't the EV be clear of errors under WMI-Activity if the process is working normally?
    2. What else would be causing all of these errors when the WMI Provider Host is not spiking?
    3. Is there another area I should be looking at that could indicate the cause for the provider host to start going crazy?
    4. Starting each process individually has not yet revealed anything - this could probably take days if not weeks since there's no way to know how long it will be before the problem occurs; but now that I'm seeing all of the errors even when the process appears to be working normally, I don't think I can use the EV to identify the process ID anyway.
    Any suggestions?
