    WMI process spike causes framerate drops


    Hi everyone. I recently updated Windows 11 to 24H2 and then continued playing the same video game, but now I have an issue: the frame rate drops to 1 almost frozen for 3 to 5 seconds randomly during the game. I started monitoring and found some spikes in the WMI process exactly when the frame rate drop occurs. A little internet research perfmon and Process Explorer and I got some details and a workaround. Restarting the WMI service net stop winmgmt kills the problematic WMI thread and the game glitches disappear until reboot. This is just a workaround, but I want your help to find the
