  1. Woke up this morning to 2 problems out of nowhere

my PC has been running fine with no problems up until this morning, for some reason my sound doesn't work and when I troubleshoot I get the error audio service isn't running. I've tried resetting it and a bunch of other fixes that I've read online but no luck. Another problem I'm having is that I'm unable to type in the search bar or in any windows app such as settings. If anyone could help me out with a fix I'd really appreciate it as this is causing me alot of stress.

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

No response yet? Hmm. I did solve the problem thanks to Polaris, but I figured I'd have a list of comments by the time I woke up this morning.

    Web cam not woking

    Thank you for that information.

Let us isolate the issue and check if the problem occurs with the camera or the PC itself. We suggest that you perform these steps and see if it helps:

    Step 1:
    Clean boot
    .

A clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This will help to eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program.

Step 2: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.

    • Press Windows key + X and type troubleshooting.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • Click on View all on the top left corner.
    • Click on Hardware and Devices.
    • Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.
Step 3: Install and Update drivers in Windows 10.

Please do get back to us for further assistance.
