Wondering why you lock down every complaint, immediately, only one or two people can talk and the rest just **** off? You do not allow us to talk to each other either. This has become most taxing, beings we use to help one another, not some nitwit calls him self a pro, and the man he's spewing his BS to, dwarfs his intelligence level. I could be helping and getting help. This forum has turn to ****, almost completely useless. stop locking every problem thread, so others can say what's going on with them. If its same issues or some things added or even maybe a walk around the issue all toget

Windows 10 People App Immediately Crashes Right After Start

Thank you for updating us on the issue.

Since the above steps didn’t help to fix the issue. I suggest you to un-install and re-install the people app and let us know the status. Follow the below steps to un-install the app.

• 
  Type Windows in the search box and right click on Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
  
• 
  Type get-appxpackage *Microsoft.People* | remove-appxpackage
  on the PowerShell and hit Enter.
  

Once you un-install the app you can install it again from Windows store.

People app opens contacts immediately upon every keystroke.

Thank you for the reply, but it sounds like you have misunderstood my problem. All of my contacts are displayed in the people app (and toggling "show contacts" according to your suggestion didn't affect the problem). The problem is that the app immediately
opens the top contact card in the list every time I do something.

When I open the app the first thing I see is the first contact card, rather than my list of contacts. When I click the back arrow to see the list, all I can really do is scroll. If I try to search, with every keystroke the first contact card opens up again.
It is as though I am holding the "Enter" key down, or something, except that I don't have this problem with anything other than the People app.

 

Clear "Pin suggested" list in People Bar

Does anybody know how to clear the "Pin suggested" list on the "People bar"?

Contacts are added to the "Pin suggested" list once you've pinned and unpinned them. But there seems to be no obvious way to remove them from that list.

After playing around with this feature and pinning and unpinning many dummy contacts, it's rather annoying to see them in the "Pin suggested" list when you click on the "My People" icon in the taskbar.
