Windows 10: Won't allow me to enter a password for a new wifi network.

My HP EliteBook 840 G5 running Windows 11 Pro is having trouble signing into new wifi networks. The network at home it signs in great and works, but if I try to sign into another network it won't work. I clicked on the no network icon on the taskbar and click connect beside a wifi network but the window closes and never goes to the space where I put in a password. So I went into Settings - Network & Internet - Wifi - Show Available Networks - Connect - same thing it either closes the window or nothing happens at all. I was finally able to get on by pushing the button on the router at the s

Phone won't connect if I change wifi password

This post states that you did'nt Apply the router config after changing the password.

Possible the router memory is bad or not saving new setting
Change the password reboot the router , check after in router if new password saved
If not, reset router to factory default and re setup
check if setting saved after reboot

If do change router password the network will need to be deleted off phone and connect again (or it trying to connect to old saved wifi password ) or could manually change it on phone and save ( as others have stated )

Phone won't connect if I change wifi password

The new password is definitely allowed and saved - all my other devices connect with no problem every time I change wifi passwords (There are 2 desktops, 1 laptop and 2 other phones using my wifi). It's just this Lumia 520 which doesn't connect.
Or am I missing something?

 

Wifi list won´t show

my new aspire 5 all of a sudden stopped letting me open the wifi list, while i had the same provider it was allright but right now i have changed my provider and since i can´t see the available networks it doesn´t let me choose it.
I´ve already tried to update drivers, restart internet settings, save the new wifi mannualy to see if the computer could connect. but nothing provided results.
From what i can guess it looks like the problem is not in the connection, because i can connect in to my old wifi and also a ethernet cable but somethig is preventing the wifi list to appear.
