    Won't boot first time


    When I have the AMD FX9370 installed, my computer won't boot first time. Never does. I hold the power button until it shuts off and press it again for a 2nd boot with zero issues.

    When the FX8350 is installed it does boot first try.

    The board was an msi 970a G46 with an EVGA 1000 WATT PSU. I know what you're all thinking, "why did this idiot use THAT cpu on a board clearly not meant to handle that kind of stress" that's besides the point. I just want to know if I can expect the same issue on my next mobo. Is the cpu bad or was it the mobo the whole time? It lasted almost a year btw.

    computer won't boot but has power

    Kursah, that 6 steps are granted it always boots at the 6th step (sometimes at the 4th) and I have to remove the ethernet cable every time otherwise I'll have to do countless steps, that's a fact. I do not have Wake On Lan set.
