Windows 10: Won't connect to internet, won't show available networks

    Won't connect to internet, won't show available networks


    I've had this problem occur periodically in the past two months or so: I open my computer, try to go online, and it says it can't connect to the internet. I click on "Available Networks" to try and manually connect, but it won't even show any. All I get is this:

    Even though there are usually about eight networks listed, sometimes none of them will show. And no, I don't have airplane mode on. I turn Airplane mode on and off again to see if that helps, but it doesn't. I know it's not a problem with my internet, because my phone and tablet will connect to my wifi without any issues. When I go to Settings it says my computer is not connected, and when I click on "Show Available Networks", it again will only show that image, with none of the networks that I know are working fine.


    The only solution I've found is to restart my computer. When I do that everything corrects itself and it works normally without any extra effort on my part. However that is incredibly annoying, and I'd like to avoid having to restart my computer seconds after opening it just to go online.


    I've tried keeping track of anything that might relate to this problem but it seems to be randomly occurring. Any idea of how to fix this?
