    Word 13 and Excel document displayed in strange black color.


    I have an issue while opening all the office 13 apps, its displayed in a strange black color. Excel is also displayed in black.

    I am using Windows 10. Is this the Issue with Windows 10 or with Office all or with my Graphics card. not able to figure it out. Any solution for this.

    Documents display strangely after 1511 update

    Dear Microsoft,

    The Nov update (1511) was recently installed on my Win 10, now some of my documents open in a strange format, could the update be the cause? It’s like the font has expanded even though the indicated font size remains the same and the text in both Word
    and Excel run over onto the next page. This only happened with saved documents I had created myself and have been using for many years with no problems. Strangely even the saved as pdf copies also appeared in a strange format. But when I opened the documents
    in another computer running Win 7 they displayed normally. I uninstalled Office 2007 and reinstalled, although the pdf copies now displayed correctly the Word and Excel were still wrong. So I uninstalled 2007 and installed a trial version of Office 2013, still
    the same problem.

    Also I notice all the fonts I normally use the most are not in the drop down list in Office 2013 ie Browallia, Cordia and Eucrosial.

    Word and Excel documents are slow to open in Windows 10

    Have the same problem, here are my conditions:

    - Windows 10 Professional x64.

    - Office 2007 Ultimate.

    - Opening Word and Excel documents is slow when Word/Excel not currently open/running.

    - Opening the Word/Excel document with Word/Excel already open is fast/normal.

    Solution is the same as reported:

    1) Disable Cortana.

    2) Restart Windows.

    Step 2 is very important.

    in my case, I don't need to restart windows. Closing cortana completely will make opening word and excel files fast like usual.
