Windows 10: Word 2016 Won't Print To Select Ranges or Current Page

Hey everyone,

I am currently trying to print 1 page of an 8 page document that I created. Every time I press print it goes into the system tray with a printer icon but it says that there are "0 document(s) pending". And then nothing prints. When I try and print the whole document it prints it just fine. I have tried it on multiple other documents and I am never able to select a certain page range.


I have reinstalled the drivers for the printer, no luck.

I have also tried going into the spooler settings to see if the problem was there (per someone else's advice), no go.


I would love to be able to print what I want to print. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Print "selection"

Most apps will work as they used to for printing such as office etc

Still works in internet explorer as it did before



in edge, however you can't print selected but you can print just the current page or a range of pages



use the feedback app to suggest the addition to Microsoft or upvote an existing suggestion

 

Printing Issues


Since upgrading to Windows 10 I can only print current page (not all or a given page range e.g. 1-3) whatever I request results in the current page only being printed - any suggestions?

Windows 10 Print Menu - Print Selection Not Showing at All

Not at all helpful. I select the text; right click and get two choices: copy and select all. In Windows 7 and IE I also got print. Or I click the three dots and click print. The print box doesn't give me print selection. I click the drop down arrow under
pages and only get current page and page range. I shouldn't have to copy text to MS Word to print a selection. I still get the selection option in Office 2007 although the print box is different.

I guess I'm too right-brained to think like a programmer who never needs to print selections.
