    Word document will not print, says not responding


    I have Windows 10, 64 bit. An automatic update occurred January 13. Now some word documents will not print, saying "not responding.


    It is not my printer. Driver is most current one. Troubleshooting printer says no problem detected. Other documents will print. Restarting does not help. As always, Microsoft is ABSOLUTELY no help.

    Problem with printing Word or PDF documents I get the message "Word not Responding".

    I've always been able to print my documents but in the last two days encountered a problem. When asking my email or word documents to print nothing happens. With Word or PDF documents I get the message "Word not Responding". From what I've seen this may
    be linked to Windows 10 which I have. Any suggestions as to how to fix it as it is extremely frustrating, not to mention irritating?

    Printing Word Document

    Created a word document and saved it in Rich Text Format (.rtf). Will not print. Office 2007 program pops up and "suggests" I subscribe to Office 365. Just need to print or email this document....tried to convert to PDF, but is blocking my efforts.

    Any suggestions??

    For the past two days the Word documents are not responding to save or print commands. The printer and scanner which were working fine before are not responding either. Thecomputer is virus free. This is Windows 10 upgraded from Windows 7 more than a month
