Windows 10: Word documents that cannot be deleted

I have some word documents that I am trying to delete, but am unable to because it says they are open in WINWORD.EXE. WINWORD is not open. How do I get these docs deleted. I have already deleted the temp files that it would allow me to delete. There are 2 temp files that it says are open in WINWORD.EXE.

Thank you for posting to the Microsoft Community. When you create word documents on the phone they should automatically upload and save to SkyDrive. If you wish to delete them from the phone try these steps:

• Open Office Mobile.
• Select SkyDrive under locations.
• Locate the file you wish to delete in documents.
• Tap and hold on the file and select delete from phone.

Deleting Mobile Word documents

I have a Samsung Focus and just updated to Windows Mobile 7.5. I can longer delete Windows Mobile word documents created on phone. Any suggestions.
