Windows 10: Word freezing after June 18, 2024 Windows 11 23H2 update

I'm trying to solve a problem that has occurred on my wife's computer Lenovo L15 after an update to Windows 11 23H2 was installed on June 18, 2024. The computer was updated from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro in January, 2024 and has run without incident until now. It is only the most recent update that has caused a problem.After installing the update, she could not access Office 365 programs we have a subscription. We contacted the tech support provided by our ISP, who ran some diagnostics and then reinstalled Office 365. After this, Word, Excel, and Outlook would open if options were s

June 18, 2024 Photos App Scare

This afternoon, I couldn't open any photos on my computer! Panicking I Googled for the answer. Microsoft Community had some answers. As I tried them I fell into a rabbit hole. WHY DO PEOPLE MAKE SOME PROBLEMS SO DIFFICULT TO SOLVE?

Nothing worked. I started to delete the Photos app from Windows 11, but there was an option to REPAIR. I clicked on that option. After a few moments all worked well. I think there was an update to the Photos app on June 18, 2024 and something went wrong. Anyway, "Repair" worked in the Add/Remove Apps.
