    Word on Mac suddenly very small with some sort of cursor to left


    Whenever I open a new Word Doc, the area to use is squeezed into a small are top left, above a sort of cursor?? Using a mac desktok Monterey OSIt only gets to a sensible size if I magnify to well over 200%. I dont know how this happened - Help!

    I was typing a document in Word and the cursor suddenly moved to the upper left hand corner and although it is blinking I can't get it to move.

    Thanks for this reply.

    It is not keeping same fonts in both versions, but you see the equations, line spacing, etc., are changed and the file in Mac looks stupid.

    I will try to attach photos of both later.

    Another problem, in Word windows , you can choose

    Options, Advanced, Show document content, Numeral: Arabic, Hindi, Context, System

    These steps are missing in Word Mac

    Word 365 Cursor Disappears

    I'm using the latest version of Windows 10 i believe (21H1, build 19043.1526) and the latest version of Office365 (2201, build 14827.20198).

    Some Word docs I'm using, the cursor will suddenly disappear and I have no idea where the cursor is. Even highlights and stuff will not appear but I can still edit the text. It's just a blind guess if the cursor is in the right place. It's largely random when it happens but generally in docs with a large table in it.

    I have no idea why this is happening but Office365 seems buggier than ever. No GUI/graphical glitches anywhere else. It's making work very difficult, any ideas how I can sort this?
