Windows 10: WordPad issue

Discus and support WordPad issue in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I've recently had an issue where when I open a .docx file in WordPad, it is delayed for awhile but it does eventually open the file...     WordPad issue


    I've recently had an issue where when I open a .docx file in WordPad, it is delayed for awhile but it does eventually open the file... Is there any way to fix it? There's no error code I get, since it does still work,but it's delayed and really annoys me
