    This is the single most annoying issue I'm now facing for years, it may also have been in Windows 7 but now I'm running Windows 10 and this is where this issue is seen:So you start up Wordpad not Word, but Wordpad, the Windows integrated tool and not part of Microsoft OfficeYou can change the layout to landscape, in the menu of Wordpad.Now, you paste a landscape-style image into the empty screen.Everything is OK.
