  1. Work Email Domain is signed in on Laptop but can't sign in on desktop

I am looking for some guidance on how to get my desktop signed in to my work domain. When I set up my work laptop this time last year, I made the account in my work domain email address and since it's always been signed in. I then get a desktop computer and tried signing in and it wouldn't work so I am now using my personal email on my desktop however I am trying to get it to have the same account as my laptop but Microsoft isn't letting me sign in or create a Microsoft account because its a work organisation email. Any help is appreciated

    :)

  2. Sign In to Windows 10

There are two accounts on the computer and both are Admin, have different passwords, and the same pin.
I have two accounts and one is for my desktop and the other is for my cellphone. This was created to keep the emails separate. Both are on the desktop so that I can read the cellphone emails on the desktop.
For some reason they both have Microsoft and Google addresses. Should of only setup one to be the main for the sign in but it was not causing an issue until now were the main doesn’t recognize the cell phone password.
Currently, the cell phone email is the only one that I can use to get to my main window. Had a problem with a program and the Tech helper had me setup the second window to reinstall that program. Doing that second install made the program work.
Now when I use the desktop email to opens the second window only. This has been happening since the last major update and the switch hasn’t worked as it did before. .Have not been using the second window at all now.
The only window that is being used is the main and that is the one that I cannot get back into.

I followed the instructions to due a reset with files & programs. For each of my address that were listed, neither accepted my password. Therefore, could not sign-in as an Admin. Rebooted.

Tried netplwiz which normally was used to skip the sign-in. I discovered that it also allowed you to change your password.

Since neither of my passwords worked prior, I used this method to make a password. Actually, just reused my prior passwords which were not working . After doing this, went back to the sign-in and tried the passwords that I created through the reusing what I had before and enter as they were new ones.

SOLVED. That worked and I was back into my main window. Thank you for all of your suggestions which guided me to try the auto login routine.

Work Email Domain is signed in on Laptop but can't sign in on desktop

My MS account sign in ended up on a domain

I tried adding my old email address in settings & it adds it & I verified it but it says it cannot be made my default account because it's on a domain. I just created this hotmail account on the Internet on my home laptop. It used to be my sign in. How did it end up on a domain? I found it in Powershell with the /Domain command. Can these be taken off the domain and/or deleted? I also tried signing out of the local account & adding that MS account using my old email. On a side note my husband has two user accounts under C:/users. When I check for net users in Powershell only one of them shows up. Should I delete one of them & which one? One of his shows up on a domain too.
