Windows 10: Work PC seeing my personal files at home?

Hi,

I have been working remotely for the last couple of months but I am now unfortunately back in the office. I have noticed something weird when I was Win + Tabbing at work, in my recent files I could see files that I was using at home?

As you can see it's showing the full path, the program name and the motherboard model(?)

As far as I'm aware the only connection between the two PCs is Splashtop and Microsoft Teams. I have a Splashtop server installed on the work PC only.

Obviously, I'm a bit concerned about this - does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Settings/Personalization

Hi,

We suggest that you follow the steps below to put your settings back to default and see if it helps.

• Right-click your mouse on your desktop.
• Click on Personalize.
• Select Colors.
• Click on High contrast settings.
• From the drop-down menu, select None.
• Click Apply.
• Reboot the PC for the changes to take effect.

MP4 Personal Video files lag after August 2016 update (windows 10)

Do not worry we will help you with this issue.

Try few of the troubleshooting steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run Video playback troubleshooter and check

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
• Select the Video playback options from the list.
  
• Click Next to run the troubleshooter.

Step 2: I suggest you to copy the files from your computer to another working computer and check if you are able to access them.

This will let us know if the issue is with specific files types on your computer.

To your two questions :

• Are both computers on your server?
• Are both using Win10 and IE?

The answer is no. Win10 is on personal PC, Win7 on work one.
