Windows 10: WORK/SCHOOL ACCOUNT ACCEPTED BUT NOW IT'S SAYING MY PASSWORD IS INCORRECT AND ONLY SHOWS ME...

My office just got a new computer. I got it set up and when it came to the part where I put in my work email and password, it accepted it, then continued on with the start up process. Finally, after doing all that, it showed me the sign in page, only instead of showing "Admin" or "office", it showed "other user". I was a bit confused, as I haven't even set up the main user, let alone "other" user. I tried to click the mouse somewhere else, but this is the only option it gave me. Microsoft account on wp8 saying my account password is wrong.

So, in detail. When I put in my password or code from 2-step verification into the password area of the Microsoft account in the accounts submenu it accepts it, says syncing with the account greyed out, then it tells me attention required on the account.
When I click on it I am prompted to reenter my password because it tells me the previous one is incorrect.

 

My Desktop (Win 10) won't accept password... says it is "incorrect"

Trying to sign in on my Desktop (Win 10) - won't accept password... says it is "incorrect". So I reset it in my MS account using laptop (Win 8). Laptop now accepts new password, but desktop still does not. What to do? Please help.

Windows 10 asks for password reset on Local Account but says incorrect password

Two local accounts on Windows 10 laptop. One has a password to login and the other doesn't. Now when you try to sign into the first one it asks you to change your password after you input your old password. When I attempt to change the password it says incorrect password or username. I know the original password is correct but it won't take me to password reset when I input a wrong password. When I input the correct original password it says to change password and then I can follow the steps to make a new password. But as I said when I use the password reset with a completely new, never used password it says incorrect password.

Additionally, the second account that doesnt have a password says to reset password upon clicking on it and there is no original password to change.

Have tried soft reseting windows and inputting Microsoft account passwords from our online accounts but nothing works.
