Work Time <-- CPU, Performance, Task Manager - Windows 10

Hello,It recently came to my attention that in Windows 10, Task Manager --> Performance --> CPU: Work Time shows my laptop been working for currently 5:19:14:50 and while I turned on the laptop some 20' ago.Work Time persists presenting this count, after performing the following in an attempt to reset it:shut off, removed the battery, pressed "turn on" button with the battery removed, re-installed the battery, turned laptop on, Task Manager --> Performance --> CPU: Work Time shows my laptop been working for 5:19:14:50.What does this even means and how do I solve this problem?T

  2. Scroll issues in Task Manager, Windows 10

    steps to reproduce the problem

    1. open task manager
    2. click on more details if its not
    3. go to performance tab
    4. decrease its height till it has two scrolls for the two sections
    5. hover over the right section (CPU, Memory, …) and try to scroll

    what is expected to happen

    the right section to scroll

    what went wrong

the left section is scrolling instead

***Modified Title from: can't scroll task manager***

  3. Task manager doesn't update resources on real time

    Hi,

It's possible that the Performance window in your Task Manager has been paused. For us to verify this, let's verify if it's really paused or set to a normal speed. Please follow the steps below:

    • Right-click on the task bar and click Task Manager.
    • In the Task Manager window, click the Performance tab.
    • At the top, click View.
    • Navigate to Update speed. If it's paused, then click
Normal. Your Performance tab should now be working.

We're looking forward to your feedback.

    Regards.

Overclock cpu max frequency constantly changing in task manager

    Hi,

I'm overclocking my Intel 8700k to 5Ghz and every time I check the current frequency in task manager the max is constantly changing. I have high-performance power settings on windows enabled and I have also disabled CPU state and Intel SpeedStep in the BIOS.
I also noticed that when using other tools to display my GPU and CPU performance they show my CPU max frequency is exactly 5Ghz, why does Task Manager constantly display a constantly changing frequency?

    Any suggestions?

    Much appreciated
