    Worried about update KB4549951

I just acquired a Lenovo A340 All-In-One desktop computer and after I set it up I noticed that the Update section in settings recommend that this update should be done soon.

I've heard that this update can cause problems, e.g. blue & black screens etc.

Is Microsoft working on the problem, and when would it be safe to install the update?

    :)

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Worried about update KB4549951 :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.

    KB4549951 causing issues

Ever since KB4549951 was installed on my Win 10, my internet speed has slowed to a crawl.

It even causes programs to freeze

I am about ready to remove it. What's the story?
