Windows 10: Would a factory reset fix my Windows 11 drivers and brightness?

As it stands, I've been building a new computer and ever since I finished it, it's had some issues. Programs lagging, things being quite slow, display not having "brightness" in its settings, drivers not wanting to fully update to the latest versions.I have an MSI B550 vdh-pro wifi motherboard, that came with a CD to install things I might've needed for drivers and more. But, I could never get it all. Because this computer lacks a place for CDs in general and I turned for the MSI site for anything I might have needed, like a chipset driver, some msi hub and similar. I'm yet unsure if I install

Factory Reset

Hi Cameron,

Since you did a factory reset on your computer, possibly the outdated network adapter driver causes the connection issue. Just for clarification, did you install the updated network drivers? If not, we suggest that you update the Network adapter driver.

• Go to Device Manager, then click Network adapters and select the network adapter name.
• Press and hold (or right-click) the network adapter, and then select
  Update Driver Software > Search automatically for updated driver software. Follow the steps, then select
  Close.
• After installing the updated driver, restart the computer.

If Windows can’t find a new driver for your network adapter, visit the PC manufacturer’s website and download the latest network adapter driver from there.

Diskpart : there are no fixed disks to show.. Factory reset gone awful

Hi everyone, I was asked to factory reset an Asus laptop and install a win 7 on it, while starting to install the win 7 I got stuck with the "no device drivers were found", searched for some tutorial on YouTube, found this vid: , followed the command codes step by step on MS-DOS : ( Diskpart >>> list disk >>> select disk 0 >>>> Clean >>>> create partition primary >>>> format fs=ntfs quick) and now I completely lost the disk 0 with all system files, no hard drive showing as a boot option in the BIOS. Am I screwed ? Is there a way to create or reactivate the internal HDD ?? Thank you in advance for your help

 

Brightness is fixed/unadjustable.

If it was working previously, I'd bet it stopped due to a mirror driver being installed. Mirror drivers are what allow remote meeting software like GoToMeeting, WebEx, and Team Viewer to copy the screen.

Here's the steps I would suggest:

• Right-click the Start button, choose Device Manager
• Go to the Monitor section (not display adapter) and remove everything inside (right-click and uninstall)
• Click the "Scan for hardware" on the toolbar (has a magnifying glass icon on it)
• Try adjusting brightness again
