    The Windows 11 update prior to this mornings update left the power management options on BOTH my laptop AND desktop non-functional. Now before you simply toss off "You can find power management option in your Windows settings." I have done that, and scoured the forums and the web to find a solution that lasts beyond the next reboot. The sad fact is that Windows engineers broke it, it is not an isolated issue, and they bloody well need to fix it. And it never seems to fail that in fixing one issue with an update, a dozen more arise. Is Microsoft going to fix this? Or, as they so often do, are t

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

    • Have you updated all the drivers?
    • Have you updated all the Windows Updates?
    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

    • Press Windows + X.
    • Click on Device manager.
    • Click on Imaging Devices.
    • Right click on Microsoft LifeCam Studio.
    • Under Driver Tab click on Update Driver.
    • And follow the instructions.

    Windows update broke bluetooth about a month ago. (disconnects, going to sleep, etc)

    Hello Eric,

    A quick question before we proceed:

    What is the KB number of the last update which causes the issue?

    I suggest you to uninstall the update and check if it helps. You may follow the steps below:


    • Go to settings and click on update & Security.

    • Click on Update History and uninstall the update from the list.
