  1. Writing to USB causes anomalous keyboard inputs

For the past couple of months my personal Windows 10 laptop, which is about 3 and a half years old now, has been displaying very strange behavior while performing what is, for me, a fairly routine task. I've been at a loss to articulate this behavior, much less explain it, so I've been doing observations to gather more detailed information and try to make it consistent, and I think I've mostly figured out how to recreate the behavior but I still don't know what's causing it.Important information: I use a USB keyboard rather than my laptop's built-in keyboard for personal reasons. Because my

Problem: One Drive causing keyboard input lag.

    Hello MattEmery1,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

To check with the query, I would suggest you to follow the below mentioned steps and see if it works.

Method 1: Check with the keyboard layout.

It seems like an issue with the keyboard layout. I would request you to change the keyboard layout to English US and you will be able to use all the keys normally. For more information, you may refer the article

Add and switch input and display language preferences in Windows 10.

    Method 2: Uninstall One Drive.

Delete the One Drive app and check if you are facing the same issue. If the issue persists, it must be with the keyboard else it’s with the One Drive. For more steps, refer

    https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Turn-off-disable-or-uninstall-OneDrive-f32a17ce-3336-40fe-9c38-6efb09f944b0

If the issue persists with One Drive, the OneDrive is supported by OneDrive in-app support team. Please follow the steps:

    • Sign in to OneDrive.com from any web browser.
    • Click on ‘?’ help icon on the top banner of the page.
    • Select Email OneDrive support.
    • Submit your question and follow the prompts to request support.

    Hope it helps.

  3. Keyboard input lag (Logitech K270 wireless keyboard, Windows 10 20H2)

Hi there. I've got yet another Windows 10 problem. lol

This time it's my keyboard. I'm using a Logitech K270 wireless keyboard, on Windows 10 Pro 20H2. I have been experiencing keyboard input lag off and on for a couple months now, and I've searched for possible solutions, but none so far have worked. I was hoping you guys could suggest some fixes.

Here's what I've tried, based on the suggestions I've found on the web:
    • Updating the keyboard/dongle's drivers (there are no drivers on Logitechs's site, oddly) and firmware. Nope.
    • Swapping USB ports. Nada.
    • Unplugging any extraneous USB devices. Zilch.
    • Checking the batteries. No joy.

As I was typing this it was lagging here and there. It's a bit disconcerting. Anyway... I don't think I missed anything, but if you need more information or diagnostics, lemme know and I'll upload 'em.
