Windows 10: Wrong album art displaying when a song is played

Hi, I am having issues with the windows media player when I play a song from a cd.It keeps showing the wrong album art cover when I play the song .. the thumbnail image is correct but when the song is being played it shows another artist's cover... I followed the troubleshooting steps provided in this thread https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-media-player-showing-wrong-album-art-even/f571bead-68ea-4cc2-aa1a-0e11942e1a9f But the issue is still present.Please let me know how this can be corrected.

No album art in Windows Media player mobile 10

It is an old FAQ (May 2005) but I believe it offers some insight worth looking at.

5.6 Why isn't album art displayed when I play a song? There are several reasons why album art might not be displayed when you play on song on your device. In order for album art to be displayed:

• 
  The album art must appear when you play the file on the desktop version of Windows Media Player. If the desktop Player cannot display the album art, then the album art cannot be copied to your device.
  
• 
  You must use the Sync feature in the desktop version of Windows Media Player 10 to copy songs to your device. This ensures that the album art on your desktop computer is copied to the correct location on your device.
  
• 
  Windows Media Player 10 Mobile for Pocket PC or Windows Media Player 10 Mobile for Smartphone must be installed on your device. Only these versions can display album art.
  

In some cases, album art might not be displayed correctly if the art is embedded in the file (for example, by using the Advanced Tag Editor in the desktop version of Windows Media Player).

 

Zune album art not display when song screen

My zune album art does not display on the song screen. the main music screen shows the album art with no problem. but once I click on the album the art no long displays in the player screen. Also the main Zune background is grey it use to show the image
of the last artist I was listing too.

HTC HD7 owner. Thanks to all the Moderators and Users that have helped me with my phone. - It's not Microsoft's job to create every app that you want. Stop complaining and bashing MS, create the app yourself or wait for a 3rd party to create it. Just like its
done on iOS and Android. - If the hardware on your phone breaks/dies its not Microsoft's fault they did not build the phone. Blame the manufacturer.

 

How can i put the Album Art for songs already on my N73 ME???

You can put Album Art in the phone.

However if you move or delete the songs the album art will be lost.

Also if you move the songs or copy them to the PC there will be no album art.

First thing you need is to find suitable jpeg pictures of the album cover.

Copy the jpeg files to your phone, open the music player. Select the Album list. Highlight the Album you want to add album art to.

Next select Options->Album art (no album art) will be displayed. Select Options->Change. Now browser to where you saved the pictures and pick the album art jpeg.

There you go.

Repeat for each album.

You can also do the same song by song. instead of album by album.
