Windows 10: Wrong Icon on WD EXT HDDW D Not Recognised

Good Afternoon can I get some help please (when you are able)?
I was backing up (OC) C;/ using AOEMI onto W D EXT HDD (E Backup Partitions FFFF & GGG in preparation for a Windows 10 Clean install”
2 hours later I noticed the W D Passport LED was on but not flashing or active as Normal so I tried to find the W D Config App as > C\ >Programs > W D Program that would be the start Program for the W D EXE HDD
I found WDApplication, Config File Manager,.EXE and I opened it thinking it was the WD App but the Choose an app from MS Store to open this program with came up and somehow I clicked UTorrent and it was showing the UT Icon I clicked and Torrent flashed up but would not open the dll file I closed it and changed to the Firefox Icon began
How do I change it back to the correct same Icon as the other three dll config files and Icons and will it still work?
During this I noticed the W D LED was Flashing as normal again and still is but I still cannot access it as you will see from the screen shot’s they tell a better story
This is all before I can solve the W D EX HDD not being recognised as Drive (E) issue which is all I was trying to do when this happened,

The drive or a network connection that the shortcut WD EX HDD (E), Link refers to is unavailable. Make sure that the disc is properly inserted or the network resource is available, and then try again

Is it possible that the WD drive E\) has somehow become O C\ ?

Is it Possible that the Desktop Shortcut to E has changed somehow and that why it cannot find the Path to the WD EX HDD
This brings me back to trying to find the WD App in the first place in Programs?

Cannot see my ext WD 2 TB HDD


Ran into this problem transferring media files from my laptop to the WD ext hdd. Both USB 3.
"My Book", my 2 TB WD ext HDD I cannot be seen on my laptop nor my media mini pc
I found it in Disk Management. It is shown as Disk 2. It has a black streak all the way (full?) It has excess of I,8 TB used and indicates that it is unitialized.


I have attached a snipper capture of the disk management page.

How do I get the ext HDD to function without losing all my media? I am not technically savvy, but can follow step by step advice.

Why is the Safely Remove Hardware icon missing in Windows 10?

Hi.

I am using a HP Envy with Windows 10. Safety remove icon missing and I can not safely remove my IPhone.

I have read that other members of the forum have had the same problem of the Safety remove icon not showing. I followed all the steps suggested by Microsoft link and by pclicious.com. I also created a shortcut on the desk and still no chance for me safety
remove the IPhone. I add a Galaxy Note II and still the icon was not showing. Then I added a WD external store drive and the icon suddenly appeared. It was showing not only the WD external store but the Galaxy too. However the iPhone was not in the list.

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.
