Windows 10: Wrong Monitor Resolution. Tried everything. Getting desperate.

I unplugged my PC for a few days because I was building a Pc for my friend and was using my desk area to set it up. Afterwards I plugged my Pc back in and low and behold the resolution was 600x400 instead of 1920x1080. I have heard of this issue before and immediately sought a solution to the issue. I have tried every online tutorial every message board fix and everything windows support could do for me. Drivers updates, drivers rollbacks. Windows updates, safe mode, I even did a reset with keeping my files and the problem was unchanged. Should I just nuke it and do a complete reinstall at this point? Please help me I am very desperate to fix this issue as I need my Pc for work. This is my final call for help.

Have LG monitor but cannot get resolution of 1920x1080.

in desperation as I was running EJS 8 steps I tried at Step 4 instead of "Uninstall Device" I selected "Disable Device" and Eureka! the recommended driver 8.970.100.9001 appeared.

Problem solved! I have 1920 x 1080.
